This page contains excerpts from my diary, which was given to me as a gift for my seventeenth birthday, exactly one year since I was diagnosed with cancer. I had kept a diary as a child and decided to keep a record of my thoughts and experiences during treatment.

For a child of seventeen I had seen a lot; I had just lost a close friend to cancer. Emotionally, the images, details and moments that had accumulated were weighing down on my mind. I felt I needed to record what I had seen.

Feel free to look around my site or post your own story in my new message area.
